NTC President and CEO Mabrie Jackson announced that she is leaving the organization after five years at the helm to join Central Market/H-E-B as Director of Public Affairs.
“It has been my great privilege to work with an exceptionally talented team of dedicated women and men who place the membership and mission of the North Texas Commission first before every decision is made,” Jackson said in a letter to the North Texas Commission members. ” I am exceedingly grateful for the support from each of you from my very first day in July 2010. A leader cannot achieve success alone, and the tenacious individuals who make up the North Texas Commission staff and membership, without fail, work relentlessly toward the common goal of regional excellence.”
North Texas Commission Chairman, Robert Hastings of Bell Helicopter, has tapped the organization’s former Chairman Bob Pence, Freese and Nichols, to head a search committee for Jackson’s successor.
